Terms of Use: BlockJam: Slide Puzzle

Scope

These Terms of Use govern your use of the game BlockJam: Slide Puzzle (the "App"), provided by Xinger Solutions GmbH, Seefeldgasse 5, 3462 Absdorf, Austria ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. The terms of the app store from which you downloaded the App also apply.

Use of the App

We grant you a simple, non-transferable right to use the App for private, non-commercial purposes. You may not modify or decompile the App, or manipulate progress, purchases or rewards through cheats, bots or other technical means.

In-Game Currency and Virtual Items

In the App you can earn coins, lives, power-ups and skins by playing, by choosing to watch video ads, or through in-app purchases. These virtual items have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, sold or transferred to other people, and can only be used within the App.

Your game progress, coins and items are stored locally on your device. They may be lost if you delete the App, reset its data or switch devices.

In-App Purchases

Some content can be bought through in-app purchases, such as coin packs, power-up packs, a starter pack or the removal of ads ("No Ads"). Prices are shown in the app store before you buy. Purchases are handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and their terms apply to payment and refunds.

In-app purchases are digital content. By confirming a purchase, you ask us to begin delivery immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery begins (Section 18(1)(11) of the Austrian Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act, FAGG). You can request a refund from the store operator under its policies.

Permanent purchases ("No Ads", starter pack) are tied to your store account. You can restore them on other devices that use the same account via "Restore Purchases". Consumable purchases (coin packs, power-up packs) are added to your game progress when you buy them and cannot be restored.

Advertising

The App is free and shows ads, such as banners and ads between levels. The ads come from third parties, and we are not responsible for their content. Buying "No Ads" removes banners and ads between levels. Video ads that you choose to watch to earn rewards such as lives, coins, power-ups or skins stay available. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is processed for advertising.

Availability and Updates

We keep developing the App and may change, add or discontinue levels, features, prices and rewards. We aim for reliable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every device and operating system version.

The App links to external pages such as the app stores or our Privacy Policy. We have no control over the content of third-party pages and accept no responsibility for it. If we become aware of unlawful content on a linked page, we will remove the link.

Liability

The App is provided free of charge; only optional in-app purchases are paid. We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and personal injury. For slight negligence, we are liable only as far as mandatory law requires, in particular the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG). As far as the law permits, we are not liable for the loss of locally stored progress, coins or items, for example after the App is deleted or you switch devices.

Intellectual Property

All rights to the App remain with us or our licensors. This includes the game concept, levels, design, graphics, skins, texts, sounds and code. Any use beyond private use of the App requires our prior consent.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you normally live. Jurisdiction follows the mandatory statutory provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. Each change is published as a new version with the date from which it applies. Earlier versions remain available in the version history.
